Secretary for Education Choi Yuk-lin will depart for Wuhan tomorrow, leading a delegation to visit Changsha and Beijing to learn about the local education development and participate in cultural study tours.
Ms Choi will first visit Wuhan tomorrow and on Thursday to call on Hubei Province’s education officials and tour Central China Normal University.
She will depart for Changsha on Friday to visit Hunan Normal University and meet its leaders, as well as lead the delegation from Hong Kong’s education sector to participate in local exchange and study activities.
On Sunday, Ms Choi and the delegation will leave for Beijing to attend exchange activities. She will also call on Beijing Municipality’s education officials as well as visit Tsinghua University and Beijing Normal University.
Ms Choi will return to Hong Kong on September 27. During her absence, Under Secretary for Education Sze Chun-fai will be Acting Secretary.
