Police’s National Security Department today arrested a woman and a man, aged 64 and 30 respectively, in Hung Hom and Cheung Sha Wan for perverting the course of public justice.
The woman and another five people were arrested on June 6 in connection with a conspiracy to forgery case. She was also arrested for doing an act or acts with seditious intention by repeatedly publishing posts with seditious intention on social media platforms.
After being released on bail, the woman allegedly attempted to pervert the course of justice by attempting to influence other defendants of the conspiracy to forgery case through the 30-year-old man.
Police conducted searches at the arrested people’s residences with court warrants and seized some electronic communication devices.
The two arrested people are being detained for enquiries.
