The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) today said it is investigating three additional imported COVID-19 cases, with two of the cases linked to the L452R mutant strain and the other one linked to the N501Y mutant strain.
The patients comprise two men and one woman. While two of them arrived in Hong Kong from high-risk places, one came from a medium-risk place.
One of the cases tested positive for the virus at a community testing centre after completing compulsory quarantine at Penny's Bay Quarantine Centre. The remaining two tested positive during quarantine.
The CHP reminded specified people in relation to Harbour Pinnacle, 8 Minden Avenue in Tsim Sha Tsui to undergo compulsory testing in accordance with the compulsory testing notice tomorrow.
A total of 36 cases were reported in Hong Kong in the past 14 days, all of which are imported.
