3 imported COVID-19 cases found

The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating three additional imported COVID-19 cases, two of which involve the L452R mutant strain while the remaining case's mutation test result is pending.   Among the patients, aged 28 to 65, two women arrived in Hong Kong from Pakistan via the United Arab Emirates and one man was from Singapore.   One of them was confirmed infected with COVID-19 during quarantine and the others tested positive upon arrival at Hong Kong International Airport.   Meanwhile, specified people linked to Tower 1, Grand Promenade in Sai Wan Ho are reminded to undergo testing tomorrow in accordance with the compulsory testing notice.   A total of 59 cases were reported in Hong Kong in the past 14 days, all of which are imported.   For information and health advice on COVID-19, visit the Government's dedicated webpage.
