8.11m vaccine doses given

About 8,115,500 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 4,330,000 people receiving their first dose and around 3,785,500 getting their second dose.   Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 1,572,400 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 2,757,700 people got the BioNTech one.   For the second dose, about 1,392,900 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 2,392,600 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.   About 53,500 people received jabs under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.   Around 3,800 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 9,500 people received their second dose.   For the BioNTech vaccine, about 12,600 people received their first dose and around 27,600 people got their second dose.   The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine and the BioNTech one at community vaccination centres is about 97%.   As of 8pm, about 1,000 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 4,400 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.   As of midnight, 14 people were sent to hospitals.
