2.89m vaccine jabs given

About 2,891,700 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 1,707,900 people receiving their first dose and around 1,183,700 getting their second dose.   Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 749,700 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 958,200 people have received the BioNTech one.   For the second dose, about 492,900 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 690,900 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.   About 14,300 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 4,700 people received their second dose under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.   For the BioNTech vaccine, about 21,700 people received their first dose and about 13,300 people received their second dose.   The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at community vaccination centres is about 97%, while it is 98% for the BioNTech one.   As of 8pm, about 7,000 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 17,800 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.   As of midnight, 13 people were sent to hospitals.
