Fountain misconduct case followed up

The Leisure & Cultural Services Department today said it is considering taking legal action against the people involved in misconduct and using liquid soap at Kwun Tong Promenade's music fountains and interactive wet play areas.   In a statement, the department said the music fountains and wet play areas had been closed for thorough cleaning.   It reminded members of the public to behave in an orderly and decent manner and be properly clothed when visting these areas. They should also not obstruct, disturb or annoy other people in their proper use of the playground.   The Pleasure Grounds Regulation also states that no person shall bathe, wade or wash in any ornamental lake, pond, stream or water.   Offenders are liable to prosecution and subject to a maximum fine of $2,000 and imprisonment for 14 days.
